This is my son jumping the boards at a Hockey for The Homeless tournament in Waterloo.  I painted it at a time when the hockey world was grieving for Humboldt. I wanted to represent the wave of people putting their sticks outside their doors and outside of arenas.  And what is more classic than a line of pucks lined up to slap down for the pre-game warm up?
